Merlin: The ReturnI met and married my wife, Soleira, in Glastonbury in 1996. In January 2018, after 22 years of absence, we moved back to the Glastonbury area and I felt prompted to write a book about Merlin. It's a story that parallels my own homecoming in a bizarre and synchronistic way: it tells of Merlin's return to Avalon, his experiences at its sacred sites, the renewal of his friendship with Arthur, and his desire to have people be in touch with their magical side. Merlin is me, but Merlin is also that depth of wisdom and compassionate understanding that exists in all of us - just waiting to be acknowledged and revealed. During the months of writing, from January through April, Soleira was in the next room, also writing about Glastonbury: in particular about the presence that dwells in Glastonbury Tor - that which is called Avalon. Both of us simultaneously created books about the re-emergence of Avalon and Camelot ... twin symbols of the new future for all of us here on planet Earth. |

Rave Reviews
"I wanted to share how much I enjoyed reading your book. It is transformational for the reader too. I feel like all has changed now and Avalon is within each of us, more present than ever. Also loved Merlin. Beautiful to read both male and female aspects and how beautifully intertwined. Lots of wisdom in the book, to see the divine perspective of one-ness and an invitation to play big! Mmmm." Annabel, Belgium |
"I love your book! I read it on the way home and I was enjoying it so much that I almost missed my boarding! I feel a sense of completion for sure. And I love how you portray Merlin and how Arthur has become wise and visionary at last! ... And yet, it seems that this is just the beginning. A new scene is set, a New Avalon is unfolding ... I'd love to hear more about how the gifted ones (the children) continue the journey. Thank you!" |

I have to tell you that I absolutely love it. It is so beautifully written (I have a Masters in Literature) and it is such a delight to read your writing. Apart from the language, the story is mighty and magical and the characters' story lines so beautifully woven into a perfect whole. And I just love the story and resonate so deeply with all you write. Such wisdom and skill. An example is the way you so clearly put the deepest truth: 'For in truth, the darkness has only ever been that which we seek to resist' (p 34) Genius. I love it. Also, I believe that the time of duality is really over. Ann, Denmark

There is also a new Merlin story being written. It is called "Merlin: The Succession" and follows the narratives of three children mentioned in "Merlin: The Return". You can read part of the opening chapter here -
