Merlin: The ReturnI met and married my wife, Soleira, in Glastonbury in 1996. In January 2018, after 22 years of absence, we moved back to the Glastonbury area and I felt prompted to write a book about Merlin. It's a story that parallels my own homecoming in a bizarre and synchronistic way: it tells of Merlin's return to Avalon, his experiences at its sacred sites, the renewal of his friendship with Arthur, and his desire to have people be in touch with their magical side. Merlin is me, but Merlin is also that depth of wisdom and compassionate understanding that exists in all of us - just waiting to be acknowledged and revealed. During the months of writing, from January through April 2018, Soleira was in the next room, also writing about Glastonbury: in particular about the presence that dwells in Glastonbury Tor - that which is called Avalon. Her book is called "They Call Me Avalon". Both of us simultaneously created books about the re-emergence of Avalon and Camelot ... twin symbols of the new future for all of us on planet Earth. You can purchase this book on Amazon in print & Kindle. Just click here and then choose your Amazon country website of choice.
There is now a companion guide to "Merlin: The Return". It gives some background information about Glastonbury, explains why the book was written, reveals the symbolism contained in the story, and comments on the myths and legend surrounding Merlin and King Arthur.
There is detailed commentary on each chapter, interspersed with questions to have you think about where the story might be headed. The guide is free and may be downloaded here. ![]()

Merlin: The SuccessionThis sequel to "Merlin: The Return" is subtitled 'A tale of the legacy left by Merlin for those who love magic'. The sequel takes place three years after Merlin’s abrupt departure from Avalon. His three young protégés are desperately trying to cope with the loss of their mentor and seeking to express their unique magic in the world. What will they discover about themselves? Will they see themselves as Merlin’s equal? Will they become Merlin’s successors? In this book you will encounter instances of telepathy, appreciate the concept of “walking between worlds”, visit The Hall of Records for a past life reading, meet with beings from another world, discover a surprising presence within Glastonbury Tor, witness magic in action, be treated to many examples of Merlin’s wisdom, and learn how Camelot is unified with modern-day Glastonbury! You can purchase this book on Amazon in print & Kindle formats. Just click here and then change to your Amazon country website of choice. I have produced a companion guide to "Merlin: The Succession" that you can download here for free. It provides insights into the writing process and gives background information about the characters, themes, and why the book came to be written. ![]()

"I wanted to share how much I enjoyed reading your book. It is transformational for the reader too. I feel like all has changed now and Avalon is within each of us, more present than ever. Also loved Merlin. Beautiful to read both male and female aspects and how beautifully intertwined. Lots of wisdom in the book, to see the divine perspective of one-ness and an invitation to play big! Mmmm." Annabel, Belgium "When I got this book in my hands for the first time I cried. Cried tears of ancient wisdom and the beauty of the words in this book. Santari has made an amazing impact on the world with this book...at least in my world." "I can’t put the book down it is so mesmerizing. It's such a beautiful book in every way. " |
"I love your book! I read it on the way home and I was enjoying it so much that I almost missed my boarding! I feel a sense of completion for sure. And I love how you portray Merlin and how Arthur has become wise and visionary at last! ... And yet, it seems that this is just the beginning. A new scene is set, a New Avalon is unfolding ... I'd love to hear more about how the gifted ones (the children) continue the journey. Thank you!" "I have to tell you that I absolutely love it. It is so beautifully written (I have a Masters in Literature) and it is such a delight to read your writing. Apart from the language, the story is mighty and magical and the characters' story lines so beautifully woven into a perfect whole. And I just love the story and resonate so deeply with all you write." Ann, Denmark |
